Conflict is inevitable. I took this as a fact when I began writing the above essay. Why do some people seemingly thrive in life, while others are always butting heads and finding it difficult to smoothly transit through life. The new BC curriculum is aimed at teaching students how to deal with conflict and get along with others. By putting core competencies at the centre of learning, I believe the BC curriculum is on the right track.
